We have prepared our menus to create a healthy and delicious choice for you, respecting allergies and the right nutritional values for this age group.
Every day we will bake and prepare home made meals for you. We cater for all allergies.
There is always a Homemade Specials Board with a 3 different Quiches, a pasta, a soup and a salad plus our menu carries Ploughman’s, plus a choice of Sandwich/Wrap fillings ( gluten free wraps and bread incl). We will also serve the famous Priors Hall Farm Sausage or Bacon Sandwiches on soft Knead Café Granary Bread. Plus we sell heaps of Fishfinger sandwiches.
For littles ones we have 3 x homemade veggy baby purees, so no need to bring anything, then to match their age and appetitie: Babyled Weaning Boxes, Grazing Boxes, Mushy pasta and then our mini Lunchboxes with everything inside. Hot food we have sausage, pea and tomato pasta, fishfingers/sausage with mash and peas ( gravy optional), tomato pasta or cheesy ham pasta, or tuna pasta with veg sticks, or any the blackboard special of the day. Ask us if you want things without sauce or us to make any tweaks.
Naturally, there will always be plenty of cakes and cookies available, which you will smell us cooking including our favourites: Victoria Sponge, DF Carrot Cake, Chocolate and Fudge, Date, Toffee and Fudge Cake, Sprinkle Cake, GF Chocolate Cake and plus EF Shortbread and Cookies and our EF/DF/GF Oat cookies which fly off the shelf. After 2pm our cake and hot drink offer at £3.90 kicks in.
Talking about those with allergies – we have soya milk, dairy and gluten free pasta, and gluten free cakes /cookies and bread and dairy free spread, dairy free chocolate milkshake and we do not EVER cook with nuts in the barn. We only use Free Range Eggs.
